I was pleasantly surprised by this recipe. My skin was really bright & balanced & very soft afterwards! DIY beauty can be a lil messy & take a couple extra steps, but more often than not it's totally worth it - especially when you have the ingredients on hand.
I was looking to find something for hyperpimentation for all skin tones. Anti-inflammatory Turmeric powder was overwhelming praised... I found an Indian beauty tips website & its used regularly as a dark spot treatment to full body scrub to detox the skin.
I loved this recipe & was happy to find another use for Turmeric. I will be incorporating into my facial rotation. Enjoy:)
Ingredients:
Turmeric
Honey
Plain [I used Greek] Yogurt
Apple Cider Vinegar
Face Mask Brush (paintbrush will work!)
*lemon juice can be used for dark spot lightening
Mix 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon Honey 1 teaspoon Yogurt & a splash of ACV
Allow mask to dry. Patiently wipe off with face cloths you don't care about (I had 2 yellow face wash cloths) Turmeric can stain.
I used on my neck & chest as well.
Depending on skin you may see yellowing. Don't panic. I used my oil based cleanser - Green Compass Cleansing Milk - gently wiped away with a Muslin Cloth. You could massage coconut oil onto the face & wipe off as well.
Turmeric - Anti-inflammatory, Natural Exfoliate, Evens & Brightens Skin Tone
Honey - Antibacterial, Very Hydrating, Soothing
Greek Yogurt - Contains Lactic Acid (exfoliates & helps cell turners turnover & renewal)
Apple Cider Vinegar - Natural Astringent (great for acne)

Great to do in bed - morning &/or night. Adjust the hand position so the forehead doesn't wrinkle. Breathe...
Muscles Used:
Increases circulation & blood flow to the frontalis.
BENEFITS:
♡Makes the Eye Area, Especially Eyebrows, Symmetrical
♡Prevents & Reduces Forehead Wrinkles
♡Trains the Forehead Muscles Not to Move When Opening the Eyes
Body posture is 1st! Then determine which eyebrow is higher. This pose wrinkles the forehead - that's OK - afterwards tap or glide fingertips around the forehead. Can use free hand to gently assist the lift.
Muscles Used:
Works orbicularis oculi, procerus, corrugator supercilii muscles while preventing frontalis from forming lines.
