Back in October I started self-defense classes at my old martial arts school... it was more advanced than I did previously, and so much more fun.
Since November I've been the only one to show up to class - so I've been getting private lessons essentially... which has been awesome😅 and it means we get to do extra things like ground & pound.
I was never a great a student (i would just smile - not coordinated lol), but I missed the environment. I'm glad I went back.
I hadn't seen Sir & Ma'am in a few years and updated them on my life & that I was pursuing my yoga certification (they inspired me, 2 of the best people I've ever encountered)... Ma'am said "I've been thinking about what we could do with extra suite when we're not using it"... again just smiled big & said "Wooooow... thank you".
So my free time is filled with yoga practice - I'm very close for my 200hr certification (but i have more to go after buying the wrong course 1st lol). But it seems like since Ma'am offered so many more people are interested in me teaching them when I'm ready... you put out into the universe what you want and live in that energy with gratitude, life starts opening up opportunities.
I'm so ready for variety... to teach online, in studios, privately, at the dojo...2024 is gonna be great🙏🏻🩷
